The Matrix Rain (NeoCodeRain) application and companion Wear OS watch face respect and protect your privacy. This policy outlines our complete lack of data collection and our privacy-first design principles.

2. Data Collection and Usage

Matrix Rain does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or usage analytics.

• No Analytics: We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Sentry, Mixpanel, or any third-party tracking SDKs.
• No Ads: We do not serve advertising or integrate any advertising networks.
• No Internet Permission (F-Droid): The F-Droid / FOSS build does not request the android.permission.INTERNET permission.
• Google Play Billing (Play Store Flavor only): In the Google Play edition, in-app purchases are processed solely by Google Play Services under Google's standard Privacy Policy. We do not store your financial or payment details.

3. Permissions

Matrix Rain operates as an Android Live Wallpaper service (android.service.wallpaper.WallpaperService) and Wear OS Watch Face. It requires only the standard permissions strictly necessary to display graphics on your home screen or watch face.
